- Project management to determine timelines and milestones for data transfer
- Data validation: evaluate any imported data to alleviate patient data loss
- Chart Prep Services:
- Oftentimes, when data is imported into a new system from an existing system, the files are not named according to the format required by the new vendor. Chart prepping allows MVIT to open a provers schedule before the day begins and arrange the documents to the location where they are required. We also rename the documents to match the workflow of the provider, allowing them to hit the ground running on day 1 of the new
- This service typically lasts from 2-3 months
Security Risk Assessment
- Designed for organizations that are in the early stages of forming a security plan. This assessment qualifies for HIPAA and Promoting Interoperability CFR 308(a)(1)(ii)A)
- STANDARD ANNUAL ASSESSMENT: An integral part of an organization’s risk management process, the security risk assessment will identify, assess, and document key security controls in applications, infrastructure and workflow processes with a focus on prevention.
- ADVANCE SYSTEMS ASSESSMENT: If you have an information security plan and you wish to test some or all of the security controls you have in place. This assessment involves network penetration testing, also commonly referred to as Ethical Hacking. In addition to the standard test, this test goes beyond the actual discovery of vulnerabilities, and into the work of actively exploiting vulnerabilities with real-world attack techniques. It allows the customer to see if their IT assets, data, employees, and/or physical security can be compromised.
Technology Assessment and Procurement
- Selecting the best equipment suited for the task required. For example:
- Higher powered computer for a multi-task operator
- Using a card scanning device vs a multi-function print scan copier
- Saves money and time for a medical office with a front desk
- Using tablet-based devices rather than have a computer in each work area or exam room.
- Saves money and lowers liability risk
